Homelink is an incredibly popular, trusted and well used vehicle-based wireless control system. It allows you to securely open and close your garage door and front gate, as well as activate and deactivate your home’s security system, as well as turn off or on the lighting, appliances, and electronics in your home. All of this can be done with three buttons that are refined and integrated into your automobile’s interior.

  • It’s Easy to Use: You can simply connect your vehicle to your house with just a few simple button presses.

  • Smarter Devices: They are compatible with garage doors, HomeLink 5 will also inform you if you left your garage door open or closed.
  • Simple and Convenient: HomeLink is easily integrated into the interior of your vehicle, and can easily control up to three devices.
  • It Doesn’t Require a Battery: HomeLink is powered by the automobile’s electrical system and it never needs batteries.
  • Complementary:Even when you are far away, the applications still give you the ability to control your RF devices. Whenever you are in the vehicle, HomeLink gives you simple, always-ready functionality at the palm of your hands.

How to Program HomeLink

  1. There are three buttons that will be located on the ceiling of the car directly above the center console. Simply, press and hold down the first and third buttons until your interior lights begin to flash. This typically takes 20 seconds. This same method is the master reset, so you won’t have to do this again when subsequently adding other devices.
  2. When the ceiling lights start to flash, press and hold the button you want to program while also holding the open/close button on your garage door opener. The lights in your vehicle should change from slow to rapid flash, and inform you that the programming is complete.
  3. In your garage, press the “learn” button on your garage door opener.
  4. Get back in your vehicle and press the programmed button on your car for at least two seconds. The lights on your garage door opener may start to flash and indicate that the vehicle is connecting.
